Hope for Young People Foundation (HYP)

Hope for Young People Foundation was established in 2017 by Sydney Bester Dinga. Driven by a deep concern for human suffering, Sydney was particularly moved by the plight of orphaned and vulnerable children who, due to disadvantage and hardship, often leave their guardians’ homes in search of a better life on the streets. Unfortunately, this exposes them to increased risks of abuse, neglect, exploitation, child labor, trafficking, and deepening cycles of poverty. The foundation is committed to addressing these challenges and creating opportunities for marginalized children and youth to thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

To empower children and young people to reach their full potential, enabling them to create a positive impact in their communities and fostering a strong spirit of hard work and determination for a brighter future

Mission

Hope for Young People is an organization dedicated to empowering children and young people to grow into responsible, capable individuals. Our vision is to nurture active participants, responsible citizens, and future leaders who will drive positive change and contribute meaningfully to the development of their communities and the nation at large.
